Aimogen Features Overview

2 min read

Aimogen is built as a complete AI layer for WordPress, not as a single-purpose generator. Every feature exists to solve a concrete problem: creating content at scale, improving existing content, interacting with visitors in real time, automating workflows, and giving developers full control over how AI is executed inside WordPress.

At its core, Aimogen is an AI content engine. It can generate posts from a single title or thousands of inputs at once, using bulk creation, CSV files, RSS feeds, YouTube captions, Amazon product data, or structured prompts. Content can be published, scheduled, saved as drafts, or injected into existing posts. The same engine can rewrite, summarize, translate, paraphrase, expand, or correct content that already exists, directly inside Gutenberg or the Classic Editor.

Aimogen is also an AI editor. Instead of generating content once and being done, it allows continuous interaction with text. You can instruct the AI to modify tone, structure, SEO focus, language, or intent, and apply those instructions manually or in bulk. Editing is not destructive by default and is designed to fit naturally into WordPress publishing workflows.

A major pillar of Aimogen is its chatbot system. Aimogen includes fully customizable AI chatbots that can run on the frontend or backend of a site. Chatbots support personas, persistent conversations, multiple simultaneous chats, GDPR gating, lead collection, and advanced targeting. A chatbot can behave differently depending on page context, user role, language, device type, or custom conditions. Real-time voice chat, image-based conversations, and vision support are built in, allowing immediate, interactive user experiences.

Beyond predefined tools, Aimogen provides workflow-level control through OmniBlocks and advanced execution pipelines. These allow AI outputs to flow from one step into another, combining scraping, feeds, search engine data, product data, video captions, and structured transformations. This turns Aimogen into an automation engine rather than a static generator. MCP server creation and connection support allows Aimogen to participate in modern AI orchestration setups where WordPress is only one node in a larger system.

Aimogen supports a wide range of AI providers and models. It can connect directly to OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, xAI, Groq, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Ollama, Hugging Face, Nvidia NIM, OpenRouter, and AimogenAPI. Providers are interchangeable and can be selected per feature or per task. This avoids vendor lock-in and allows cost, performance, and capability trade-offs depending on use case.

Multimodal features are deeply integrated. Aimogen can generate images using multiple providers, attach images automatically to posts, and work with vision-enabled models that understand images submitted by users. Audio features include text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and real-time voice interaction. Video-related workflows allow transforming YouTube videos into written content and enriching posts with AI-generated media.

For advanced use cases, Aimogen includes embeddings and model training tools. Embeddings allow the plugin to “know” your company, products, or documentation without full model fine-tuning. These embeddings can be used by chatbots, content generators, and assistants to produce context-aware responses. Fine-tuning support exists where providers allow it, but embeddings are designed as the primary customization mechanism for speed and flexibility.

Aimogen is built with control and transparency in mind. Usage limits can be defined per user, role, feature, or provider. Every AI execution is logged, measured, and traceable. Statistics, graphs, and logs allow you to understand costs, performance, and behavior over time, which is critical when running AI features in production.

For developers, Aimogen exposes a REST API, hooks, filters, and stable internal data structures. This makes it possible to trigger content generation programmatically, manage chatbots externally, integrate Aimogen into custom plugins, or build entirely new AI-driven features on top of it. Aimogen is not a closed system; it is designed to be extended.

In short, Aimogen is not just an AI writer, not just a chatbot, and not just an automation tool. It is a unified AI framework inside WordPress, capable of powering content, interaction, automation, and experimentation at any scale, while remaining configurable, extensible, and provider-agnostic.
